Recognizing the need to stay current with educational trends, it became evident that for SBBC to maintain its influence and continue to have impact on the world for Christ, changes would be required. GLTN is the result of those changes. It is the belief of GLTN that an influential leader needs to be effective in all areas of life. The best example available to us is that of Jesus Christ. A strategic plan is clearly evidence in the management methods of Jesus. This plan was exemplified in every area of his life. It was these strategies that allowed him to effectively impact the world. With this in mind, GLTN is comprised of six departments, or strategies, that impact multiple areas of a leader’s life. Each strategy requires the completion of 45 units. A portion of those units will require the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the core competencies of that strategy to a present or future ministry opportunity. By completing multiple strategies, an Associates (2 strategies) or Bachelors (4 strategies) degree can be earned.
