"Rozella Fox's
Legacy"
She was clothed
with the garments of faith, hope;
and a love for all
called from her youth, to serve the Lord with Joy,
She obeyed the Master's
call
She faithfully
taught God's word with wisdom, and Knowledge, all of her life
She was a virtuous, faithful mother, grandmother, and friend;
and called to be a Pastor's wife
In our hearts,
she will forever be - she will never be forgotten,
Tho now, we may sorrow and weep
Thank you dear Jesus, for her life; and the precious memories
we will treasure, and keep
Listen closely,
dear ones', for this, I know, she would say to us all
Keep the faith, press on, with joy, and one day, you too, will see
That to live for, and give your life to Jesus, will one day,
bring us all together again to live, eternally!
Amen!
In Love,
Mary Marshall |

I was just browsing through your webpage and
came upon this "Tribute Page". Both of these women were mighty women of God.
I was a member of ICCC from 1978 until I maried my husband Jerry Van Der
Veen in 1994 and began travelling and ministering together with him which we
have now done for almost 13 years. Much of who I am, and what I do is to the
credit of my fine teacher, mentor and example, Rozella Fox.
Often I have found myself in situations and mindsets that immediately I she
would come to mind. For years, a bracelet was popular with the letters WWJD
on it. I have worn a bracelet on my heart which says WWRD.
I'm first of all thankful for my Lord Jesus is has given us all an
example to follow, and the Holy Spirit to strengthen, guide, and instruct us
along our journey through life. Equally as important is the example we give
each other. We are more then just mere men when we live and move in the
power of the Holy Spirit. This is the kind of woman Rozella Fox was to me.
So I shall always continue to remember her when difficult moments present
themselves; I will say to self... "What Would Rozella Do"?? Thankfully, the
answer always lines up with the Word of The Lord.
Thank You Rozella.

Rozella impressed me in many ways. First, and
foremost, was her wealth of Biblical knowledge. I took many Bible College
Classes from her and she was the best teacher I had the privilege to set
under during all my college years. My goal was to be able to teach like
Rozella. She always ran overtime because she gave you so much more than the
text had to impart. No one cared how long she took. It was just too good of
a feeding time to be concerned with the other demands of your life. Her
excitement about the things of the Lord made you feel like she had just
recently been saved not having served him for a lifetime.
Also she impressed me with her joyful even
disposition. Her laughter was spontaneous, youthful, and contagious. 'She
was an "Up" person and lifted your spirit. She made everyone feel special
and displayed a sincere caring about the problems and hurts of others. We
worked together many years on the Women Of Excellence Retreat and I
always found her to be a gracious friend I could share confidences with. I
miss her so much. There will never be anyone who can fill her shoes or take
her place in our hearts.

I first heard Sister Fox preach in March
of 1976, at my first presbytery. She had just given a message on "Walk not as
fools but as wise" from Ephesians. I can still hear her voice... Throughout
the years I knew her through Revival Fellowship, she was the epitome of a true
"lady", and one of those who truly encouraged me to become a missionary back
in 1986 to Colombia. To Steve, Sharon, and dear Brother Fox, my deepest
condolences. All my love and blessings,
Susana (Jarrard) Hernandez
