Can you please pray for my father his name is Bruce Hornbaker. He is in
the hospital he has been hallucinating. Also having heart problems. Please

Going out of town tomorrow Sept. 24, to meet up with our mission leadership team
for annual retreat in city of Armenia Monday thru Friday. I fly to Bogota then
Pereira tomorrow and then overland one hour Monday to Armenia. Return Sat. Sept.
30.
Please pray for safety and God's purposes for this, for our families and
delegates from all over Colombia, and from Ecuador, Venezuela and Spain. I think
also Brazil!
Deby will enjoy Daddy time with Norman at home those days.

Pereira mañana y después sigo por tierra el lunes una hora hasta Armenia.

Dear friends, just a short letter to ask for you prayers this week as we have
been preparing a bid for a government contract. This is all new ground for us in
an already stressful time preparing for the JCAHCO accreditation .Our survey
date is set for December 11/06 . We have much to do to prepare for it. God has
been preparing us for this time The last 2 years we have been working diligently
making sure that there are no cracks anywhere A solid foundation so that the
walls can go up. He has been so gracious and we continue to recover financially
from our Medicare audit. This summer alone Robert and I have settled over
$15,000. in personal debt. We still have a ways to go but we are gaining ground
everyday. Thank you Jesus ! We never stopped giving of our tithes and offerings.
Its amazing because we really haven't been making very much money. We even took
a week off this summer to see my brother and his family in Tennessee. It was a
wonderful trip and I found a long lost friend Laura . What a wonderful gift from
the Lord that was. Anyway back to the prayer request. This bid is with the
Veterans administration providing warehousing, disinfecting, repairs, and
delivery and pickups. One of the great things about this bid it is not on my
credit line. It is there equipment . There is a lot involved in bidding it
right. If all goes well we will have it for 4 years. We have had many promises
from the Lord and we believe that this is His hand at work in our lives. To add
to the challenge here in the work place this is the second week with a Board of
Equalization .(retail taxes) He has been hand picked of the Lord to train us in
this area. He might not know it but we do. He has been teaching us what we need
to know. There are some problems but nothing to serious . Mostly because most of
the $$$ made is insurance .Not taxable. Hopefully he will exit on Thursday.
Please pray for this as well. An audit is never fun. Finally Robert and I have
been looking at renting another building . We will need more square footage with
our new contract and location is very important . We have often wanted to buy
this building but who has an extra 1 or 2 million laying around .We looked
around to rent and we would be looking at paying around $10.000 a month . We
only pay $1000. here .Our land lord is awesome. Friday when he comes to get the
rent I am going to make him an offer. Last summer when we had no money he didn't
put any pressure on us. He told us he thought everything would work out and that
we could pay him later. Please pray that God would speak to his heart. Last
month rent time I did plant the seed . Grow seed grow . God is the God of the
impossible . He delights in showing Himself strong. None of these things are to
difficult for Him . Please join your prayers with ours and become a part of our
miracle . Robert and I love you all . We know God plans to bless us and prosper
us . Many of you are involved with ministry and you know our hearts for the
harvest of souls . That's why I know you will pray in faith not wavering amen .

p.s. The bid has to out this week .The survey date is to be accredited. Soon
to be a Medicare requirement as well as for other contracts Blue cross Aetna ,
etc., also for hospital discharges .This is the same requirement that hospitals
and Universities must get. Its a Goliath . So they are 2 different things .

This is Robbie from Texas. I had asked you to pray for my daughter that she
would get into nursing school this fall. Well I am happy to report that she did
get in after someone else dropped out. Now the real work begins. I appreciate
your prayers so much. If we should come to your mind in the future I would
appreciate your prayers for us. For my daughter, that she will persevere in
school and finish well and that she will continue to look to God and grow in
grace. For my son-in-law that he will turn his life over to God and for me that
I will be faithful in prayer and trust God completely. Thank you for praying for
someone you don't even know. You have blessed and encouraged me.

This is Robbie from Texas. I had asked you in March to pray that my daughter
would get into nursing school. She received the letter from the school Saturday
and she did not make the class but is one of the alternates. Some of the people
who are accepted into the class will drop out before class starts in the fall.
Then they will go to the alternates so there is still a chance that she can get
in. Please continue to pray that God's will be done in this matter. Sarah is
very downhearted right now so please pray that God will comfort her and give her
the courage to wait on His timing. I appreciate your prayers more than I can
say. Thank you so much.

This is Robbie from Texas. Last year I had asked you to pray for
reconciliation between my daughter and her husband. They got back together after
15 months of separation. They are still together and are going to church. They
are still young and immature but I can see God working in their lives. Thank you
so much for your prayers for them. I come to you again asking prayer for my
daughter. She will be taking an exam next Wed. March 22nd to get into nursing
school. There are many more applicants than there are places for them so a good
score on the exam is crucial. She is smart and knows the material but is
extremely nervous. Please pray that during the test she will be calm, that she
will have clarity of thought and recall of the material and that she will do her
very best on this test. Thank you so much. I appreciate your prayers.
