In Korea....
I would really appreciate your prayers. ......I am being challenged with
breast cancer. I just was released from the hospital (in for 7 days) to have
the tumor removed which was 2.5 cm. My lymph nodes were fine. Next week I
will have to start chemotherapy treatments followed by radiation. There is a
lot going on right now for us to say the least. It's strange being so far
from home and away from family going through this, but right now the only
medical insurance we have is Korean insurance. I did see a very good doctor
here and was at the very best hospital in all of Korea. The doctor studied at
Harvard Medical School.
Thanks for your concern. Most of the people I talk to (Christians alike) say
it would be crazy to not have chemo. I was actually ready to not have the
surgery at all and just stand firm on God's covenant with us for healing, but
my family (not Dale of course) went crazy. I am taking some alternative
therapy which is a food supplement by Mannatech - there have been many
successes while taking this along with the treatment. It specifically targets
your amune system. Do you know of many people fighting this WITHOUT chemo?
Yes, I had a lumpectomy - the tumor size was 2.5 cm.
The other morning (two days ago) a scripture really hit me about "eating
only that which grows from the earth." I found myself dismissing it, but I
also kept coming back to it. Then....I got your email, and now I am doing
some more research. I feel a little pressured because I am scheduled to
begin treatments this Thursday. On one of these sites you game me (I think
it was the
www.outsmartyourcancer.com site) it says sometimes it can me good to do
the Protocell in conjunction with a short-term treatment. They also
recommend discussing all this with the oncologist. Anyway, being over here
makes everything much more complicated in many ways (transportation,
distance, etc., etc.), so I sure do appreciate your prayer and the prayer of
other intercessors as well. Also, by the time I order anything, it may be
another three-four weeks before I get it here. The report I received from
the doctor was that my four lymph nodes that were removed were clear, but
because of the size of the tumor (anything over 2 cm) the cancer is a stage
2, and stage 2 cancer is treated with radiation and chemo.
YES you are welcome to share this with some intercessors. PLEASE do! I am in
a very vulnerable place right now, but do trust the Lord to walk with me.
Dale and I had just signed a new employment contract which is in a city about
two hours where we were living. During the two week transition between jobs
is when I found the lump. So....I did not get hired. I believe with all my
heart that nothing is impossible with God; however, I am also feeling more
than every that I need prayers supporting me through this. This product I'm
taking is a glyconutrient. You can read about it either on
www.glycoscience.org (this is a site
that posts the research), or on
www.mannatech.com
This has all happened so fast. I found the tumor on a Monday night, went to
my doctor Tuesday, went to the breast specialist clinic on Wednesday, found
out the results of the mammogram, sonagram, and biopsy on Thursday, then on
Monday went in to Seoul to meet with the doctor/surgeon. Then two weeks later
had the surgery.
Blessings to you and THANKS!

Please pray that God will do a work in my
daughter and son-in-law's hearts to bring about genuine repentance and
reconciliation of their marriage. Pray that God will put a hedge of protection
around both of them until this happens. Thank you so much for your prayers.

This is Robbie from Texas. I had asked prayer for my daughter
and son-in-law that God would do a work in both of their hearts to bring about
genuine repentance and reconciliation of their marriage. There has been no
change yet but I continue to ask the Lord for this and would appreciate if you
would also. My immediate concern is for my daughter who now says that God does
not answer her prayers. She doesn't want me to talk about God. Pray that she
will turn back to Him and her heart will soften. Thanks so much for your
prayers. I appreciate them more than I can say.

This is Robbie from Texas. I had previously asked prayer for my daughter and
son-in-law regarding reconciliation of their marriage. Things
have not improved and are actually worse but I am still not willing to give up
on praying for healing and reconciliation. Pray especially for my daughter's
spiritual condition and her emotions and health as well. She is depressed and
grieving very deeply. I am concerned about her. Thank you so much for your
prayers. It comforts me to know others are praying as I get weary sometimes and
cannot pray for a while. I am looking to God to work this out for His Glory.
Again, thank you so much. Please keep praying.

Personally, please keep my family in special prayer during
the trip as our daughter Debora is in school, and for her continued good health
(no allergy attacks). She will be participating the second week of my trip in
the Cartagena Children's and Youth Film Festival, as a judge. Norman and Debora
will have some special father-daughter time, too. Also pray for my healing from
a bad head cold and a chronic "tennis elbow" condition which is from computer
keyboarding. It is sometimes painful to play instruments, drive, etc.

An acquaintance of ours, good friend of Gloria Escobar from
our church in Cartagena, named Lucho (Luis) Ariza, was attacked two days ago and
is in coma at this moment after neurosurgery to repair damage from 8 blows to
the cranium with a hammer. We do not know what happened exactly, but that he was
the victim of a barbaric attack. He also has two fractured ribs and today they
are combating a kidney infection as well. He had no health insurance, by the
way, and there are financial expenses to meet. Lucho has accepted the Lord
through Gloria's witness, and we are asking the Body of Christ to unite in
intercession for his life. Please pass this need on and pray as you are able.
Thank you so much,
